If you have ancestors in Ireland, notice that research will be conducted at nearly every major Irish archive. If your ancestors are from Europe and you do not see the country of your ancestral origin, please send an inquiry regarding the feasibility of research there. Kyle and Wade will likely visit other countries in Eastern Europe and Slovakia to conduct research for clients as well.  (More details will be posted soon).

The cost for on-site research in these archives costs about the same as our usual hourly research fee for International research, plus expenses. Travel costs are part of the 'plus expenses,' but they are pro-rated among clients requesting research in the same area. So, gather up your friends and family with ties to these countries and you may be able to reduce the travel expenses to near nothing!

I'm interested, but how can I find out if my family can be researched or is ready to be researched in Ireland? Fill out this form and one of us will be in touch with you. You don't have a village of origin in Ireland for your ancestor yet? Well, then you still need to have North American research completed. Ask for a free evaluation.

Poland Research

Research will take place in the major archives of Poland and will include research in Jewish, Roman Catholic, Greek Catholic, and Protestant records. The records of Poland under the jurisdiction of old Prussia as well as the Austrian and Russian Empires are now mostly maintained in state archives [Archiwa Państwowe] and church archives in Poland. More modern records are at district registry offices [in Polish, such an office is called Urzad Stanu Cywilnego]. Many Greek Catholic records from the former Galicia are at the state archives in Przemyśl (Archiwum Państwowe w Przemyślu). More info - http://www.przemysl.ap.gov.pl/

In addition to archives, local villages will be visited to examine church records, search cemeteries, and interview relatives. Digital photographs of homesites and ancestral villages are available, as well.

Plans include visits to the state archives at Warszawa (Warsaw), Białystok, Przemyśl, Łódź, and Rzeszów, among others. More info -  http://www.archiwa.gov.pl/index.eng.html
