FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ProGenealogists Gains Well-known Genealogist
for Key Managerial Role
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – 20 May 2005.
ProGenealogists, Inc. announces that E. Wade
Hone, founder of Eurogins, has joined ProGenealogists as a Senior Staff
Genealogist and Project Manager.
E. Wade Hone is well-known in the
professional genealogical community, and he brings more than 20 years of U.S.
and European research experience to ProGenealogists. Known for his
groundbreaking book, Land and Property Records in the U.S. (Ancestry,
1997), Mr. Hone is a frequent lecturer on land, immigration, and other important
research topics. At Eurogins, Mr. Hone focused upon finding ancestral origins
for families of European descent. He has managed major genealogical projects for
clients for more than a decade.
“We’re excited to have Wade join our
research team. This works out really well for us,” said Natalie Cottrill,
ProGenealogists’s President and CEO. “To maintain high satisfaction among our
clientele, we needed additional expert help. For several years, Wade has
consistently produced high-quality work for us. It simply made good business
sense to bring Wade on board full-time. Our valued clients will gain tremendous
insights from his European expertise, and his managerial skills will ensure our
clients are served with the high level of customer service and professionalism
that they have come to depend on.”
Kyle J. Betit, ProGenealogists’s
Vice-President of Research, remarked, “We work with many excellent professional
genealogists who share our commitment to producing only the highest quality
research. Wade’s knowledgeable, scholarly, and diligent research will allow us
to better meet the needs of our clients, especially those with Central and
Eastern European or Scandinavian ancestors.”
Wade Hone frequently travels to Europe where
he is often granted access to records critical to discovering European ancestral
origins. ProGenealogists’s ability to promote this service was one of the
reasons Mr. Hone came on board, according to Vice-President of Development, Kory
L. Meyerink, AG, FUGA. “I have known of Wade’s abilities for fifteen years,” Mr.
Meyerink commented. “His well-earned reputation underscores our commitment to
providing excellence and value to the families we serve. We look forward to
Wade’s contributions as manager and genealogist to the company, including his
contributions to ProGenealogists’s award-winning website.”
