Linda K. Turner, BS, AG®
Linda Turner, BS, AG, is a professional
researcher and lecturer, specializing in Midwest and Eastern states, 20th
Century, and urban research. She received her
genealogical accreditation in Midwest states.
Her interest in genealogical research began
35 years ago with a grandmother whose love of genealogy sparked the
imagination of a little girl and brought to life her ancestors in a way
that would never be forgotten.
Linda currently serves as National Publicity Chair for the 2003 FGS/FSGS
National Conference in Orlando, Florida, and as Projects Chair and board
member of Utah Genealogical Association. She is Chair of Publications
Marketing for Federation of Genealogical Societies. She served as
coordinator and trainer at the Salt Lake Big Cottonwood Family History
Center for many years and has chaired numerous conferences sponsored by
this organization.
She has written
training manuals for several genealogical computer software programs. She
has served in various positions of Utah Genealogical Association,
Conference Chair of the 1999 Utah Genealogical Association Conference, and
Assistant Director of the 2000 Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy.
