Linda Berg Sharp, B.A. (Family History)
Linda
Sharp is a professional genealogist living in Salt Lake City. She grew up in
Massachusetts and New Hampshire, surrounded by historical sites, were she gained
a sense of heritage. She began pursuing her personal heritage interviewing
relatives. Beginning with these interviews, Linda broadened her work in family
history to German genealogical research to expand her knowledge of her family.
She sought genealogical training by attending workshops and classes. In
addition, she volunteered at a local Family History Center in Round Rock, Texas
where she aided in the instruction of staff.
After raising five children, she returned to Brigham Young
University and completed her degree. During her internship she worked on The
Palatine Project. Her training at BYU was focused on the Midwestern United
